IPJunction® Enables Interconnection and Presence Services For Carriers
Driven by costs, competition, subscriber demand and the desire to deliver new value-added services, communication carriers are moving customers to VoIP and other packet-based communications. Marteleron USA LLC has developed an innovative, carrier class technology called IPJunction® , which enables highly scalable presence, single sign-on and routing features for both in-network and out-of-network connectivity.

This centrally managed presence and routing service is able to support environments such as single sign-on and IP routing, while enabling application layer service offerings for an enhanced user experience. IPJunction provides a combination of scale, reliability and efficiency with the flexibility, features and manageability required for next generation services. This turnkey solution, whose flexible architecture makes it available as SAAS or deployed into multiple data centers, supports IPv4 and IPv6, seamlessly operates within existing infrastructures, and is free of integration requirements.

Communication carriers -ILECs, CLECs, MSOs, ISPs, wireless carriers and others- are faced with the growing problem of interconnecting peering federations and independent communication carriers. IPJunction, in addition to providing presence services, is designed for communication carriers and federations to connect to one another.

IPJunction works within the bounds of existing relationships between carriers to streamline the gateway address look up and enable advanced capabilities for carrier flexibility. This includes CALEA compliance as well as revenue generating subscriber features resulting in CapEx and OpEx cost savings for carriers, ISPs and large enterprises.
